Minister for Education Dina Nath Sharma Wednesday said that weak education system was the main cause of unemployment in the country.

Inaugurating a new building of Chandrodaya Multiple Campus in Benighat VDC of Dhading district, minister Sharma said that the reason of many people being unemployed despite acquiring academic degrees was the lack of quality in the education system.

He also stressed on the need of change in the education policy.

“Though billions of rupees is being spent in the education sector, non-government and international sectors, academic institutions in Nepal are not meeting the expectations of the people,” he added. Nepalnews.com
