Chairman of Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) and former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa Sunday blamed major parties for the current political deadlock as he left for Indian capital New Delhi where he will hold high profile political parleys.

Talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport before flying to New Delhi, Thapa said the country was in a political quagmire because the big political parties failed to act responsibly.

According to RJP sources, Thapa will meet top Indian political leaders including Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, ruling Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi and Indian foreign minister S.M Krishna.

Thapa will also undergo health check-up during his stay in Delhi. nepalnews.com
