After Karnataka, a porn scandal has erupted in Gujarat with two Members of Legislative Assembly (MLA) facing allegation of watching obscene pictures on their tablets inside the assembly while the proceedings were on, Times of India reported on Wednesday.

MLAs Shankar Choudhury and Jetha Dharwad are claimed to have watched obscene picture. Courtesy: Times of IndiaThe two MLAs Shankar Choudhury and Jetha Dharwad have been alleged of watching sexually explicit pictures inside the assembly. According to reports, a local journalist recorded the two watching nude photos of women and complained to the Speaker about it.

"Choudhary showed his tab to another MLA Bharwad. First they started by watching the pictures of Swami Vivekananda, then cartoons and then pictures of women," senior journalist Janak Dave claimed. The BJP has, however, denied the charges.

The issue created uproar in the House. When the House gathered around 12 pm, two Congress MLAs Siddarth Patel and Iqubal Patel demanded that the two accused legislators be dismissed from the House, PTI reported.

In the month of February, three ministers in the Indian state of Karnataka had resigned following allegations of watching porn videos in the legislative assembly.

The BJP leaders, chief minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda, state BJP chief K S Eshwarappa and former chief minister B S Yeddyurapp had resigned from the post after they were caught  watching porn videos. nepalnews.com
