U.S. Department of State Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman arrived in Nepal Wednesday for a two-day visit.
She will meet with senior government officials, political party leaders, Nepal Army leadership, representatives of the Tibetan community and civic activists, according to a statement issued by the U.S Embassy in Kathmandu to inform about her visit.
Prior to her arrival in Kathmandu, U/S Sherman visited India. Her next stop after Nepal will be Bangladesh.
