UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said promulgation of the constitution by May 27 will not be possible if the peace process does not come to conclusion within April 12.
Speaking at a programme in Lalitpur Friday, Nepal said the agreement reached between the parties to vacate the cantonments by April 12 (end of Chaitra) must be fulfilled in order to accelerate the constitution-drafting process.
The former Prime Minister also said integration of the combatants move forward out quickly if the Maoists behaved sincerely.
Ruling out any prior agreement on the ranks of the combatants opting for integration, Nepal said the ranks would be determined by the Nepal Army after the integration process starts. nepalnews.com
