Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has appealed to all the political leaders to concentrate on peace process and constitution-drafting.
Issuing a press note on Saturday, PM Bhattarai's aide Bishwodeep Pandey quoted him as saying that there was no alternative to reaching consensus on disputed issues by April 12 through extensive discussions.
PM Bhattarai called for discussions from April 8 to 12 for a political understanding on the fundamental issues of the constitution.
He also urged the parties to put aside less important tasks considering the nearing deadline for promulgating the new constitution.
Citing the April 18 deadline to find consensus, PM Bhattarai emphasised that the differences on state restructuring, form of the governance and electoral system must be sett. nepalnews.com
