Leaders of major three political parties- UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML and Madhesi alliance, United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) are holding discussions to resolve the disputes seen in the constitution drafting at Hattiban Resort in Kathmanu today.
The leaders convened for the negotiations to resolve the disputes as they have only two days to settle the disputes as the per the deadline set by Business Advisory Committee of the parliament. The deadline for settling the dispute, which was extended for the last time, will come to a close on Tuesday. Maoist vice chairman Mohan Baidya, who leads hardliner faction in the Maoist party, is also participating in the meeting.
The parties are yet to find common ground on various subject matters to be incorporated in the new constitution including form of the governance, restructuring of the state and judicial system among other. nepalnews.com
