Pushpa Kamal Dahal Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that 10-state federal model is the bottom line of his party.

Talking to the leaders of Newa Movement at his residence in Lazimpat on Friday, the Maoist chairman said that his party would not compromise on the 10- state model proposed on Thursday.

Dahal also claimed that the newly proposed model is scientific and practical.

Leaders of Newa Movement, Padmaratna Tuladhar, Malla K. Sundar, Senior cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi, UCPN-Maoist leader and State Minister for Land Reforms Dilip Maharjan, the CPN (UML) leaders Dr Mangal Siddhi Manandhar and Rajendra Shrestha among others were present in the meeting. nepalnews.com
