The meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) under the Constituent Assembly (CA) scheduled to take place Saturday morning has been deferred till Sunday at the request of the three major political parties and Madhesi alliance.
The meeting was postponed due to the hectic parleys among the parties to iron out the differences on the issues related to the constitution drafting process.
Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poudel reached Singha Durbar to request to the CC to postpone the meeting.
The next meeting has been called for 11.am on Sunday, informed CC chairman Nilamber Acharya. nepalnews.com
