Normal life has been adversely affected in several districts in the far west for the third consecutive day on Sunday due to the indefinite bandh (shutdown strike)enforced in the region by Far Western Ekata Samaj and few other regional outfits.
The Samaj supported by cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have enforced the bandh to exert pressure on political parties for undivided far western region.
The bandh has crippled daily life in the region as the main marketplaces, businesses, industries and academic institutions have remained closed and buses of long and short routes including other vehicles have remained off the road in many districts of the region due to which the roads wear a deserted look. nepalnews.com
