Hardliner faction of the UCPN (Maoist) led by vice chairman Mohan Baidya has decided not to join the consensus government to be formed as per the five point agreement singed among the major parties last night.
The meeting of the politburo members close to the hardliner faction held in Pulchowk this afternoon decided not to join the government saying that the government to be formed under the leadership of Baburam Bhattarai would not have legitimacy to be claimed as the consensus government.
The dissenting faction of the Maoist party also said that five point agreement also raised serious questions on the issue of national independence. nepalnews.com
