The meeting of the Constituent Assembly scheduled to start Friday has been deferred once again.
The CA meeting that was to start at 3 pm today was deferred till May 8 through a notice. This is the second consecutive deferral of the CA sitting convened for debate on the constitution.
The major political parties yesterday agreed to continue their efforts to reach consensus on the disputed issues of the constitution. As per the agreement, issues are not settled through political negotiations would be decided through voting process.
