An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Nepal Police was killed after being crushed by a UN vehicle that was being ferried on a trailer with Indian number plate at Baireni in Dhading district on the Prithvi Highway on Saturday.
ASI Pahalman Shakya of Kalleri, Dhading, was killed when the UN vehicle fell over him after the trailer lost control and overturned due to brake failure. He was on duty when the accident occurred, police said.
A bystander was injured in the incident. nepalnews.com
