The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has reiterated that it is not going to reconsider its position for 'single autonomous Madhes province'.

"We have categorically made this clear that autonomous Madhesh province is our bottom line," Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik) leader Jintendra Dev said after the meeting of the five constituents of the UDMF. "We are not going accept any alteration in the territory of Terai," he added.

According to him, the UDMF decided not to accept any alternative to 'one Madhesh province'.

Meanwhile, the UDMF has urged the CPN (UML) to join the 'consensus government'. "The UML is showing unnecessary pretexts after signing the agreement to form consensus government," Dev said, "The UDMF calls on the UML to show the spirit of consensus." nepalnews.com
