Nepali Congress (NC) has issued a whip asking its lawmakers to compulsorily attend the meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) scheduled to take place on Thursday.
NC chief whip Laxman Prasad Ghimire Wednesday issued the whip directing all the lawmakers to attend the meeting as voting is likely to take place on the disputed issues related to the constitution drafting process.
The Constitutional Committee (CC) has already decided to put forward the contentious issues of the constitution to the CA. The CA meeting has been called at 3.00 pm on Thursday. nepalnews.com
