Life is slowly returning to normalcy in Janakpur of Dhanusha district from Wednesday after the Mithila State Struggle Committee put off all its protest programs until May 12 in response to government's talks offer.
The Struggle Committee had been enforcing "Mithila region bandh" in eastern Terai region for the last eight days after an unknown outfit exploded a bomb during their peaceful demonstration in Janakpur on April 30, which left five dead and over 30 people injured.
The Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction has invited the struggle committee for talks and the latter is forming a five-member talks team for the same. nepalnews.com
