The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has plunged by 13 points so settle on 419 points Wednesday. .

The NEPSE index has witnessed continuous fluctuation following the recent political decisions between the political actors regarding the peace process and constitution drafting.

As per the NEPSE sub-indices, banking, hydropower, other group and development bank groups witnessed a massive loss of 20.02 points, 10.67 points, 9.39 points and 1.67 points, respectively.

Finance and insurance groups gained a mere 1.12 points and 0.18 points on Wednesday.

The index had increased by 24 points to 428 points on Monday, the first trading day of this week (as Sunday was a public holiday due to Buddha purnima) while it further increased by 4 points to 432 points on Tuesday. nepalnews.com
