Nepali Congress (NC) central member Gagan Thapa has said that his party would pull out of the current government if there was conspiracy to extend the CA tenure by six more months after imposing a 'State of Emergency'.
Speaking at an interaction program organised by Reporeters' Club in the capital on Thursday, Thapa said NC will not stay in the government even for a minute if the people's aspiration for timely constitution and logical conclusion of the peace process was again thwarted.
He also voiced his and his party's concern and reservation against ethnicity-based federalism, saying that demarcating the country along ethnic lines is not viable and will only be detrimental to the country. nepalnews.com
