The meeting of UCPN (Maoist) and Nepali Congress held ahead of major party meeting ended without any conclusion on Friday.
The meeting convened at Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahalâ€™s residence in Lazimpat could not form a common position on the name of the federal state.
Emerging from the meeting, NC vice president Ram Chandra Poudel said they had disagreement on the names of the federal states thought there was still change of forging agreement on the number of the state.
