The dispute resolution sub-committee under the Constitutional Committee (CC) of the Constituent Assembly on Saturday finalised 30 out of the total 117 questions related to the constitution on which voting will be conducted in the CA.

The questions, which will be forwarded to the CA after being approved by the CC, are related to form of governance and electoral system. 16 of the 30 questions were finalised by the sub-committee earlier, but were sent back to it by the CC for further debate.

The questionnaire will be presented to the CC on Sunday. After being approved by the CC, the CA will conduct voting on them.

However, the sub-committee today could not finalise any of the questions related to the federal model.

The meetings of the CA were cancelled successively as the CC was not able to forward the questionnaire on the disputed issues of the new constitution. nepalnews.com
