PM Bhattarai (File photo)Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai's political advisor Devendra Paudel Sunday revealed that the PM is in favour of extending the term of the Constituent Assembly if the constitution is not promulgated within the stipulated time.

Speaking at an interaction in Kathmandu, Paudel also said that PM Bhattarai is also engaged in consultation on the extension of the CA term.

“PM wants CA should not be dissolved without promulgating constitution," he said.

Paudel also claimed that regressive forces are active to conspire against federalism and indefinite shutdown enforced in the far-western region was the result of the same plot.

He also ruled out the UCPN-Maoist giving up the agenda of identity-based federalism. Nepalnews.com
