Nepali Congress has sought resignation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai accusing him of unconstitutionally declaring the date for the fresh elections of the Constituent Assembly (CA).
The NC Central Committee (CC) meeting held this afternoon at party headquarters in Sanepa strongly objected to the government decision to hold CA election on 22 November and decided to form a new strategy against the move by holding discussions with other political parties.
The NC is scheduled to hold discussions with other political parties shortly to prepare a common strategy to exert pressure on PM Bhhatarai to step down. nepalnews.com
