A helicopter carrying Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai from Dharan to Kathmandu made emergency landing in Udaypur after technical problems Saturday evening.
PM Bhattarai's aide Bishwodeep Pandey, who was travelling with the PM, told Nepalnews that the helicopter was diverted to the Nepal Army barrack at Khulke after technical complications. He said another army helicopter would pick the PM from there today itself.
PM Bhattarai was returning to the capital after attending the convocation ceremony at B.P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. nepalnews.com
