Senior leader of CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the Maoist-led government cannot bail the country out of the crisis the nation faces at present, adding that other political parties should take government leadership to give a political way out.
Speaking at an interaction program organised in Bhaktapur on Tuesday, he also said there was no alternative to consensus and understanding among the parties to pave the way out of the political crisis.
He accused Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai of being solely responsible for the crisis, saying that their unilateral moves to fulfill their own vested interest was to blame.
Oli also ruled out the possibility of fresh election until the parties forge political consensus and Maoists leaders stop violating past agreements. nepalnews.com
