Indian Police have arrested three NepalisĀ  and recovered a diamond worth Rs 32 million allegedly stolen by them, in Durg district of Chhattisgarh.

A search operation was launched on a tip-off that the three had stolen a diamond in Nepal and had come to the state looking for a buyer, after which they were nabbed near Radhika Nagar on June 14, PTI quoted ASP Prashant Thakur as saying.

Those arrested have been identified as Pashupati Nath, 30, Virendra Bahadur,25, and Subhash Khadka,28 . The police also seized a 13.11 carat diamond a 6.9 gm platinum ring from them.

The police is yet to identify owner of the diamond and the place from where it was stolen. nepalnews.com
