The Chinese delegation led by Ai Ping, the vice minister for Asian affairs at the international department of the Chinese Communist Party that arrived in Kathmandu Friday, has started top-level political meetings on Saturday.
The Chinese delegation held separate meetings with UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala and UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and discussed Nepal's current political deadlock.
During the meetings, Ai Ping suggested parties to arrive at consensus at the earliest, reiterating China's willingness to provide any kind of support asked for.
This is the most senior Chinese delegation visiting Nepal after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly. nepalnews.com
