Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Saturday said he would not be any hurdle in resurrecting the dissolved Constituent Assembly on the basis of political consensus along with a court order.
"I won't have any objection if the CA is revived on the basis through political consensus after the Supreme Court order," Bhattarai said while talking to a group of journalists at his Baluwatar residence.
However, he said he saw no possibility of legitimate revival of the CA in the current situation.
Saying that solution to the current stalemate must come from the political parties, PM Bhattarai expressed hope that formal negotiations between the parties on the key issues of the constitution would start soon.
He also described his government as an "election government", not a caretaker one.
Meanwhile, asked about the speculations of his souring relations with President Ram Baran Yadav, PM Bhattarai claimed that they had normal relations. "We communicate quite well during meetings," said he. nepalnews.com
