The UCPN (Maoist) and CPN-Maoist, a newly formed party under Mohan Baidya's leadership, Wednesday formed a joint task force to settle the disputes regarding the ownership of the party office seen after the party split.
A meeting of UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-Maoist chairman Mohan Baidya held Wednesday morning at latter's residence in Baniyatar formed the task force comprising Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Agni Sapkota from the Maoist party and Dev Gurung and Hitman Shakya from CPN-Maoist as the members.
The two leaders are also learnt to have discussed current political situation of the country and possible unification of the rival parties. nepalnews.com
