The government on Thursday decidced to promote four joint secretaries to the post of secretary.

A meeting of the Cabinet held this morning promoted joint secretaries Dhan Bahadur Tamang, Durga Nidhi Sharma, Gyan Darshan Udas, and Surya Prasad Silwal to the post of secretary, Minister of Education Dina Nath Sharma informed media-persons after the meeting.

The Cabinet decided to receive the loan assistance of Rs 5.31 billion to be provided by the World Bank for the implementation of improvement and maintenance of Bridge Programme and Rs 3.48 billion for the implementation of Golden Hundred Days Programme under the Health Ministry. Similarly, the government also decided to accept the loan assistance of Rs 1.58 billion for the feasibility study as well as construction of 6 MW Budhi-Gandaki Hydropower project. Nepalnews.com
