Indian ambassador to Nepal Jayanta Prasad met with UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his residence in Lazimpat Thursday morning discussing latest political scenario of the country.
In the meeting, the Indian envoy is learnt to have inquired chairman Dahal about the efforts of the political parties to forge consensus. In response, chairman Dahal told that his party was holding discussions with other political parties to end the political impasse of the country.
The meeting of the two also dwelt on the mutual relations between Nepal and India. nepalnews.com
