Former king Gyanendra Shah left for three-week long foreign trip Monday evening with his family members.
Shah left for Doha on a Qatar Airways flight at 7:30 pm on his way to France. He will stay in France for two weeks. He will also visit England, Denmark and Norway, it is learnt.
His wife Komal, daughter-in-law Himani and few other family members are accompanying him during the tour.
Though the ex-king is said to traveling to Europe on a private trip, he is also expected to engage in political lobbying. nepalnews.com
