Despite Tuesday's Supreme Court's order staying the government decision to provide lifelong state facilities to VIPs including luxury vehicles and apartment rents, ten former chief justices have not yet returned the government vehicles.

The former CJs who have not returned the government vehicles are - Bishwanath Upadhaya, Trilok Pratap Rana, Dilip Kumar Poudel, Keshab Prasad Upadhaya, Hari Prasad Sharma, Surendra Prasad Singh, Kedar Prasad Giri, Govind Bahadur Shrestha, Om Bhakta Shrestha and Mohan Prasad Sharma.

Three former CJs Anup Raj Sharma, Ram Prasad Shrestha and Min Bahadur Rayamahi had returned the vehicles to the government before the SC order.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa also has not returned the government vehicle.

Former PMs Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Jhala Nath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and NC leader Ram Chandra Poudel had returned the vehicles even before the court order while former PMs Sher Bahadur Deuba and Lokendra Bahadur Chand submitted the vehicles on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. nepalnews.com
