The Supreme Court (SC) Sunday scrapped a writ seeking an order to the President to remove caretaker Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and initiate the process for the formation of new Council of Ministers.
A single bench of judge Tahir Ali Ansari scrapped the writ saying that there was no any reason to issue show cause notice on a complete political issue at a time when there is absence of Constituent Assembly and the parliament.
Advocates Saroj Kumar Thapa and Paras Mani Bhattarai had registered the writ at the SC seeking its order to pave the way for consensus government by removing PM Bhattarai. nepalnews.com
