Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will leave for Tehran, the capital of Iran, on August 29 to attend the 16th summit conference of the countries of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) scheduled for August 30 and 31.
PMĀ Bhattarai will meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other heads of states and governments during his visit, RSS quoted Chief Protocol Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nirajan Man Singh Basnet as saying.
Basnet also informed that Nepali officials at the UN Mission have been asked to set timetable for other bilateral meetings of PM Bhattarai. PM will return home on September 1.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayankaji Shrestha will leave for Tehran on August 27. He will participate in the minister level meeting of the conference. nepalnews.com
