Constituent Assembly (CA) chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang has called on the political parties to resolve their differences at the earliest and seek an outlet to the current deadlock in the legislature parliament. Speaking at the eighth anniversary of Madan Bhandari Memorial College in Kathmandu, he said the country is passing through a very difficult juncture and specially requested the Maoist not to continue disrupting the parliamentary proceedings over their demands to reverse the President's move to reinstate the Army chief.
Nemwang said that the parties and the civil society need to work towards the main national campaign of constitution drafting, adding that it will be drafted on time "if they all work together."
However, the CA chairman said the constitution-drafting process has not been affected by the differences seen among the political parties. nepalnews.com June 29 09
