Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) chairman Upendra Yadav Monday said that President Ram Baran Yadav should take a tough step to end the country's protracted political deadlock.

MJF chairman Upendra Yadav"The President show courage to take a tough step if the parties are not able to reach consensus quickly," Yadav said while speaking at a media gathering in Bhaktapur.

He said the kind of meetings the President is holding with the leaders of the parties would not leave to any solution and that the President should have done something much earlier.

Yadav also made it clear that his party was in favour of fresh parliamentary elections, not reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly or CA election. "Since 90 percent of constitution-drafting has completed there is no need for reinstatement or fresh CA election," said he. nepalnews.com
