According to PM's Foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, the talks concentrated on enhancing diplomatic relations and boost trade between Nepal and Pakistan.

After the meeting, Bashir told media persons that issues like Pakistan's financial assistance to Nepal's development, bilateral cooperation in different areas and growing terrorism in the region were discussed.

He further said Nepali political parties were capable of leading the ongoing peace process and finding solution of the national crises and that there is no need for external involvement.

Bhattarai informed that Bashir has handed over the invitation letter from Pakistani Prime Minister to Nepal for Pakistan visit at an appropriate time.

During his three-day stay in Nepal, Bashir met with Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala and his Nepali counterpart Gyan Chandra Acharya, among others. He is returning to Pakistan today. nepalnews.com June 29 09
