A day after Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar submitted signatures of party’s 18 central committee members supporting his faction to Election Commission (EC), Upendra Yadav faction of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum has warned of protests if the EC denied recognition to his faction.

In a press meet orgnaised at the MJF’s parliamentary party office at Singh Durbar Tuesday, Yadav said there is no other faction of MJF in the country.

Yadav claimed Gachchhadar has support of only 14 out of 35 central committee members of the MJF.

The coalition government had agreed to let Yadav faction of the MJF use the parliamentary party office last week after the it warned to obstruct the House during discussion on government’s programmes and policies. nepalnews.com
