Two Pakistani nationals have been arrested from a guest house in tourist hub Thamel in the capital in possession of 5.5 kilogrammes of brown sugar.
The Metropolitan Police Sector, Hanumandhoka, made the two public amid a press meet on Saturday.
The arrested Pakistanis are 41-year-old Hussain Adara and 33-year-old Ershad Mohammad.
They were arrested with the contraband from Room no. 104 of Khansan Guest House at Thamel on Friday.
Police investigation found that the two Pakistani nationals had brought the narcotics substance from Pakistan by concealing it on their bodies.
They had arrived in Kathmandu from Pakistan on February 22 on a Pakistan Airlines flight. nepalnews.com
