The 15th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit has kicked off at the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt Wednesday afternoon.
Heads of states and governments from 118 non-aligned nations are participating in the two-day summit.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is participating leading a 20-member Nepali delegation at the summit.
PM Nepal is scheduled to address the summit at 8.00 pm local time.
The summit was inaugurated by Egyptian president Hosni Mubarrak, who took over the mantle from Cuban leader Raul Castro Ruz, calling for international solidarity for peace and development and collective efforts on war footing to check the malaise afflicting the global financial system. nepalnews.com
