President Ram Baran Yadav is hosting a dinner to leaders of all political parties in the Constituent Assembly on the occasion of Loktantra Diwas 2067 at his residence in Shital Niwas, Tuesday evening.

The President’s Office has sent invitations to leaders of all parties in the CA along with heads of constitutional bodies, diplomats, and high level government officials for the dinner.

At a time when the nation is heading towards confrontation due to the increasing differences among the major political parties, the dinner organised on the occasion of Loktantra Diwas and to be participated by top leaders of the major political parties is expected to become an informal platform for the discussion on the ongoing political crisis.

Leaders of the three largest parties in the CA, the Unified CPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) had held a meeting at Hotel Radisson Monday evening to discuss the solution to the ongoing problems.

The leaders of the three parties who met after a long gap failed to reach any concrete decision. nepalnews.com
