Minister for Commerce and Supply Rajendra Mahato has submitted his property details to the Prime Minster's Office (PMO), national news agency reports.

He furnished the property details in accordance with the Corruption Control Act 2002 which mentions that ministers should submit their property details within 60 days of assuming their office.

Mahato owns 4 bighas and 14 katthas of land in Babargunj and Bela of Sarlahi district, has a two-storey house built on 4 anaas of land in Battishputali, Kathmandu, in his wife's name, and another two-storey house at Bishnupur-8 in Dhanusha district, according to the PMO.

Similarly, he has 95 tolas of gold, 3 kgs of silver and a car and has a cash deposit of Rs 930,152 in his wife's name at the Agriculture Development Bank and Rs 10,841 in his name at Everest Bank. nepalnews.com
