President of Nepal Federation of Indegenous Nationalities (NEFIN), Raj Kumar Lekhi , has stressed on the need for writing a constitution which can be embraced by Nepails of all caste, creed and community.
Speaking at a press meet organized by Association of Nepalese Indegenous Journalists in Pokhara of Kaski Thursday morning, he warned of a massive revolt if the new constitution fails to ensure the rights of indegenous nationalities, who are classified by the government as janjatis.
Lekhi also claimed that conspiracies are on to draft the new constitution in a hurry and shy away from addressing the problems faced by indegenous people in the country. Nepalnews.com
