Talks between the representatives of agitating Tamsaling Joint Struggle Committee (TJSC) and the government has been postponed for Wednesday as a conclusion could not be reached during the talks held Sunday.
The government is committed to implement the agreements of the past, Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Rakam Chemjong told journalists after the talks held at the ministry.
Discussions were held on various demands raised by the TJSC including a Tamsaling ring road and an autonomous Tamsaling state for the Tamang community.
The TJSC has been obstructing the Trishuli-Dhunche section of the Pasang Lhamu highway as part of the protest. npalnews.com
