Constituent Assembly member and minister for Federal affairs, CA, Legislature Parliament and Culture Minendra Rijal has expressed his confidence that the new constitution would be drafted on time. Minister Rijal said that minor changes in the CA's statute drafting schedule would not delay the issuance of new constitution.
Rijal was speaking at a programme in Dharan Saturday.
He said some CA committees have not been able to submit the drafts because of the complex nature of the subjects they are working on.
Saying that trust among the major parties is a must for writing the constitution, Rijal said the Maoists should join the current government instead of talking about bringing it down. nepalnews.com
