President Yadav, who held joint discussion with top leaders of the three major parties - UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and UML - on Saturday and with leaders of fringe parties yesterday - invited Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe at Shital Niwas for one-to-one discussion on the political scenario, especially the successive failures of the prime ministerial election.

Apart from emphasising on the need for to reach understanding among the parties at the earliest, the President Yadav expressed worry over the dispute surrounding the term of the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN), Bijukchhe said.

"He suggested that the dispute be solved procedurally," Bijukchhe, whose party has been advocating for presidential rule, told reporters after the meeting.

Bijukchhe, however, did not reveal the President's reaction to his party's advice for presidential rule. nepalnews.com
