Nepal defeated China by seven wickets in the ACC U-19 Women’s Championship that kicked off in Kuwait on Friday.
Electing to bat first, China set the target of 62 runs losing all wickets in 23.1 overs while Nepal easily chased the target in 15.2 overs losing three wickets.
Kavita Gauchan snatched three wickets and Sangeeta Gauchan took two wickets while Rubina Chhetri and Sonu Khadka took one each wicket to restrict China just to 61 runs.
In their second match, Nepal will compete with the UAE on Sunday. nepalnews.com
