Continuing the winning streak in the ongoing ACC U-19 Women’s Championship, Nepal on Monday defeated Thailand by four wickets to enter the semi-finals of the tournament underway in Kuwait.
Electing to bat first, Thailand managed to score 86 runs losing four wickets in the allotted 25 overs.
Chasing the target of 87 runs, Nepal met the target in 22.3 overs losing six wickets.
Group winner Nepal had defeated China by seven wickets, Malaysia by a huge margin of 97 runs and the UAE by 68 runs in the previous matches.
Nepal will face Bhutan in the semi-final match on Thursday. Nepalnews.com
