Nepal’s U-19 women’s cricket team members line up during award ceremony after clinching the ACC U-19 Championship in Kuwait Friday...Nepal defended the ACC U-19 Women's Cricket Tournament, defeating Thailand by six wickets in the final match played at Hubara Cricket Ground in Kuwait on Friday.

Nepal chased the 75-run target set by Thailand in 21 overs losing four wickets. In the previous inning, Nepal had bowled out Thailand in 23.4 overs.

Nepali women showed steady batting after losing the 4th wicket in the 8th over. Captain Rubina Chhettri and Mamata Choudhary contributed 56 runs in partnership to lead the team to victory.

Chhettri was declared player of the match. This is Nepal's third victory in ACC U-19 Women's Championship. nepalnews.com
