Friends Club (FC) defeated New Road Team (NRT) 2-1 to enter the quarter-final of the ongoing British Gurkha Cup played at Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday.
Diwas Gurung and Prakash Budhathoki contributed one each goal for their team to secure victory against NRT while Susil KC scored for NRT.
Gurung scored an opening goal in the 18th minute and Budhathoki doubled the score in the 31th minute while KC replied a goal in the 48th minute. nepalnews.com
